Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Mum & Baby Yoga

Pregnancy Yoga

Mondays 5pm-5.45pm at Zen2Yoga, Polmont, Falkirk.

Runs weekly.

A gentle yoga class during pregnancy. The class begins with some guided breathing techniques which can help in labour and birth and to relax. Then follows some gentle movement and postures to help ease tensions, as well as relieve aches or discomforts. The class ends with relaxation and guided hypnobirthing meditations, during which you have the option of lavender aromatherapy oil applied to acupressure points on the temples to help de-stress and unwind. Helping you leave the class feeling completely relaxed. The class is also a lovely way to meet and connect with other expectant mums and mums-to-be in the local area.

Many women come to a yoga class for the first time while they are pregnant due to the many benefits yoga brings during this time. Attending a yoga class prenatally is a birth preparation tool and is also as a way to relax, tune into your body and connect with your baby. Whether you are completely new to yoga or an experienced yogi, you are most welcome to join me for this class.

Mum and Baby Yoga

Friday's 11am-12 at Zen2Yoga in Polmont, Falkirk.

These run in 5 weekly blocks. 

A postnatal yoga class designed for both mum and baby. Suitable for mums and babies from 6 weeks postnatal to 18 months. A lovely way to have fun and bond with your baby. The class integrates movements and postures which includes your little one. I also provide play mats and some toys if babies prefer to have some tummy or play time during class and of course you are welcome to bring your own too.

Baby sensory elements are integrated into class to offer new experiences for babies as well as ending the class with a little baby massage to soothe and settle. After the class there is an option to stay and chat, have a cuppa and connect with other mums locally. 

Please know if your baby is upset or needs anything during class you are of course welcome to feed them, change them, cuddle them or anything else they need. The class is relaxed and baby led, so you are welcome to pause and join back in whenever you need.
